Equipment and Adaptations

With over three decades of experience across the NHS, Adult Social Care, and my own residential care home, I specialise in delivering thorough and compassionate Occupational Therapy assessments within your home environment. I work with a wide range of settings, including owner-occupied homes, housing association properties, and care facilities.

Following your assessment, you may require equipment or adaptations to support your safety, independence, and daily living. Any recommendations will be sourced, delivered, and professionally fitted by trusted local companies who have longstanding contracts with the NHS or Lancashire County Council.

All works are carefully project-managed from start to finish, ensuring a smooth process and a high-quality outcome. You will be fully supported through every stage, right through to completion and handover.

Additional intervention available;

  • Housing needs assessments. Reports designed to assist clients currently negotiating or about to embark on the rehousing process.
  • Specialist OT equipment and adaptation reports. Stand-alone assessment or case management of equipment and adaptations. OT Solutions can offer project management role for any adaptations including design and overseeing works.
  • Assessment and facilitation of complex and bespoke equipment.
